Prof. Alpi obtainer her B.A. and M.A. from the University of Illinois, Springfield. At Millikin, she serves as the Director for the Center for Entrepreneurship. She directs the small business consulting projects which are designed as capstone experiences for business school students.

Professor Jon F. "Rick" Bibb received a BSBA in Marketing and and MBA in Marketing from the University of Missouri - Columbia. In addition he completed doctoral course work at the University of Kentucky in Marketing and Applied Research Methodology. He is a tenured Associate Professor of Marketing and the Coordinator of the Marketing department. In addition to teaching at Millikin since 1982, Rick also has taught at Illinois State University, Central Missouri State University, and the University of Texas - Austin.

In addition to my teaching duties I manage the Millikin Blue Connection, a unique business endeavor that synergistically combines the strengths and diverse talents of the students and faculty of Millikin University. Step into the Blue Connection Gallery -- it's easy to find in downtown Decatur, Illinois, in the Madden Arts Center, home of the Decatur Area Arts Council.

Blue Connection Gallery is staffed by students and Millikin volunteers. It's the perfect place to find a unique gift for that special someone.

Prof. Stemler earned her B.A., M.A., and Ed.D. from Illinois State University.

Here at Tabor the MIS faculty has developed the following five learning goals for our students:

(1) Students will demonstrate their database competencies in designing and building a relational database of moderate complexity through database management system software.

(2) Students will use the System Life Cycle to develop a system design through the use of case modeling and system modeling that will solve a moderately complex business problem; then develop a program from the modeling specifications in any program language.

(3) Students will be able to understand the basic concepts of security with regards to operating systems and access control.

(4) Students will apply networking and telecommunication knowledge to specific applications and situations, such as the Internet, intranet, and e-commerce.

(5) Students will organize and write user documentation, system documentation and IS reports in a language and style appropriate to the profession.

Ed Walker directs the Commercial Art / Computer Graphics major which includes courses in print production, illustration, computer graphics, and advertising design. With fourteen years of professional design experience, he continues the practical application of his skills through his company WALKER DESIGN. Professor Walker's approach to teaching computer graphics is based on the integration of technology and fine art to solve complex visual problems. These visual problems are typically client driven and demand knowledge of how computer hardware and software can be used as an artistic tool for communicating ideas. Courses taught: Production Techniques, Illustration, Computer Art and Design: Layout and Multimedia, Ad Agency, and Portfolio.
