Financial and Market Analyst –
Numbers Module
Inventory Data Manager - Operations Module
- Responsible for obtaining financial reports each month from the CFO for use in the class and modules.
- Requires the learning of Crystal Reports software (manual available in Center).
- Collect and interpret data concerning BC’s foot traffic patterns.
- Learn how to interpret data to explain and report to the module class for board evaluation. Processing and interpretation of this information should lead to enhanced sales pattern understanding.
- Assist in sales training with A/E I class and modules, and product selection decisions for promotions based on information from interpreted data.
- Responsible for entering all products into inventory, including the product descriptions and dimensions, within one week of consignment.
- Responsible for getting labels printed to go with each product.
- Learn to use product description and keywords as methods for marketing and sales.
- Requires significant communication with CFO to ensure correct ID#’s are given.
E.J. Rasine
Inventory Tracking Manager – Numbers Module
- Responsible for performing physical inventory checks for Blue Connection and reconciling the inventory lists from Peachtree and the online system.
- Manage reproducible items (i.e. First Step Records cds, Bronzeman Books selections) by evaluating the need to replenish, and taking the necessary steps to secure more of these items.
- Form a relationship with the Blue Connection Liason for First Step Records.
Rob McNamara
Media and Public Relations Director - Marketing Module
- Responsible for continuing and forming new relations with the media (TV, radio, print) in the Decatur Metro area.
- Responsible for delivering press releases/information to each venue for every event at Blue Connection in a timely manner.
- Maintain relationship with Bryan Marshall of Millikin.
- Coordinate and oversee the distribution of After 5 Live flyers to downtown Decatur.
Chia Bhakta
Photographer – Operations Module
- Learn to use photographic equipment in basement of BC.
- Responsible for photographing all products for use of web sales and marketing within one week of consignment.
- Requires regular review of photographs for web quality.
- Photograph events for records, marketing, and public relations.
Amy Svendsen
Event Coordinator – Operations Module
- Responsible for overseeing the planning and management of all events in which Blue Connection is involved
- Arts in the Park
- After 5 Live
- Anne Lloyd Gallery receptions
- Vespers concert
Areas of management include, but are not limited to:
- Advertising and marketing information on event
- Employee scheduling
- Set-up and take-down
- Purchasing food
- Coordinating with LSB and Jim Gresham
Andrew Kaplan
Web Marketing Manager – Marketing Module
- Responsible for managing publicity information about Blue Connection and Blue Connection events in the realm of the internet.
- Requires maintaining relationship with Kestrel Technologies for PR support on the Blue Connection website.
- Responsible for coordinating the production of the Blue Connection “Updates” e-newsletter to be sent every 6-8 weeks.

- Coordinating the rearrangement of the gallery on a monthly basis, to be completed prior to After 5 Live.
- Involvement with the consignment process by participating in the monthly reviews of work and helping to educate potential artists about the consignment process at Blue Connection.
- Assist in overseeing staff at gallery.
